AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is the practice of making a business visible, accurate and citable inside AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Momentum Inspire, a commercial growth consultancy for ambitious UK businesses, delivers AEO as one part of a wider growth engagement: we fix the technical signals AI crawlers need, restructure your content so engines can quote it, and measure whether the engines actually recommend you.

One connected growth system
Momentum Inspire is a commercial growth consultancy for ambitious UK businesses that want to scale with more clarity and control. This page answers what we do. Advisory leads: we start with the commercial problem rather than a channel, agree the priorities, then bring positioning, marketing, sales and outreach together as one connected system.
Momentum Inspire exists to give commercial teams a growth engine that compounds, replacing scattered, one-off marketing with a joined-up system across strategy, outreach, CRM and content.
Which of these a business actually needs is decided first, in the advisory work our founders lead personally. The services below are how the agreed plan gets delivered.
Joined-up, not fragmented
Strategy, CRM, outreach and execution under one roof, so every part pulls in the same direction instead of fighting for credit.
Senior people, real accountability
You work directly with senior people who have CMO, CEO and CCO backgrounds, supported by the specialist team.
Results that compound
We build pipelines designed to get stronger month after month, with clear reporting, no vanity metrics and no guesswork.

Advisory leads. Execution follows.
Senior commercial thinking brought together with practical specialist delivery, then measured by the commercial progress it creates. Most engagements draw on all three, in that order.

The jargon, what it means and why it matters
You should never need a marketing background to understand this site. Here is every term of trade we use, what it means in everyday words, and why it matters to every business, including yours. If anything on a call is unclear, ask, and we will explain it properly.
- Outreach
- Contacting potential customers directly and personally, usually a message on LinkedIn or an email, rather than waiting for them to find you.Why every business needs it: Referrals and word of mouth plateau. Outreach lets you choose your customers instead of waiting to be chosen, and keeps new conversations arriving even in quiet months.
- Lead
- A person or company who might become a customer. Why every business needs it: Every sale starts as a lead. If you do not know how many you have and where they came from, growth is guesswork.
- Pipeline
- The list of potential customers you are currently talking to, from first hello to signed deal. A 'leaking' pipeline loses people along the way.Why every business needs it: Your pipeline is the health check of future revenue. A full one means predictable months ahead; an empty one is a warning you get months in advance, while there is still time to act.
- CRM
- Customer Relationship Management software: the system that keeps every customer, conversation and deal in one place so nothing gets forgotten. HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive are common examples. Why every business needs it: Without one, follow-ups get missed, customer knowledge lives in one person's inbox, and you cannot see which efforts actually bring in money.
- SEO
- Search Engine Optimisation: making your website appear when people search on Google. Why every business needs it: Most buyers still check Google before they spend. If your business does not show up, a competitor's does.
- AEO
- Answer Engine Optimisation: making your business appear when people ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity for recommendations. Why every business needs it: A growing share of buyers now ask AI for a shortlist before searching at all. Businesses in those answers get the enquiry; everyone else never knows it existed.
- B2B and B2C
- Business-to-business means selling to other companies. Business-to-consumer means selling to the public. We work with both. Why every business needs it: The mechanics differ, with B2B decisions typically involving more people over a longer period, but the principle holds either way: be findable, be trusted, and follow up properly.
Frequently asked questions
- What does Momentum Inspire do?
- Momentum Inspire is a commercial growth consultancy for ambitious UK businesses that want to scale with more clarity and control. Advisory leads: the leadership team diagnoses the commercial problem, agree the growth priorities, then bring positioning, marketing, sales and outreach together as one connected system. That covers growth strategy, outreach and lead generation, social media, authority building, reporting, paid campaigns and CRM, including how discoverable a business is to both people and AI search.
- Who is Momentum Inspire for?
- Founders, COOs, CFOs and commercial leaders at UK small- to mid-sized businesses and scale-ups who want a predictable pipeline, whether they sell to other businesses (B2B), to the public (B2C), or both. It is not built for growth-at-all-costs VC plays.
- How much does it cost?
- Pricing is scoped to your engagement on the first call rather than published as a price list. Engagements typically have a 3-month initial commitment, a 1-month notice period, and a one-off onboarding fee agreed up front before any work begins.
- How do I get started?
- There is no online checkout. Every engagement starts with a call with a member of the leadership team to scope what you need. Book a call from the site and we agree a service agreement before any work begins.
- Is your LinkedIn outreach compliant?
- Yes. Our outreach is run carefully within LinkedIn's limits using your authorised access. We never ask for your LinkedIn password on the website. Access is shared through a secure password-manager vault.
- What CRM do you work with?
- We work across the major CRMs, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics and Monday, covering setup, pipeline build, automation and reporting. We start from the system you already run rather than pushing a migration, and if you have no CRM yet we help you choose one that fits how you actually sell.
- Where is Momentum Inspire based?
- We're based in London at 66 Paul Street, EC2A 4NA, and work with B2B and B2C clients across the UK.
