Advisory

Commercial growth advisory

Momentum Inspire is a commercial growth consultancy for ambitious UK businesses that want to scale with more clarity and control. Advisory leads the relationship. We work with business leaders to find where growth is being held back, agree what to do about it, and then put it into practice. Every engagement is led by our leadership team, who stay involved through delivery rather than handing you on to someone you have not met.

Most businesses do not need more activity. They need clarity about which activity is worth doing. That is what the advisory work is for.

What do we advise on?

Five areas, and most engagements touch more than one of them because commercial problems rarely sit neatly in a single box.

Commercial Strategy

Where the next revenue comes from, which customers are worth pursuing, and what has to change commercially to reach the target.

Go-to-Market Strategy

How a proposition reaches its market: positioning, channels, pricing approach and the sequence in which to move.

Sales Transformation

Rebuilding how selling actually happens, from pipeline discipline and structure through to the behaviour of the team.

Marketing Transformation

Turning scattered marketing activity into a system that can be measured against commercial objectives rather than vanity metrics.

How do we work?

The leadership team leads every engagement and stays involved from the first conversation through to delivery. You are not handed to a consultant you have not met once the work starts.

The work itself is done by our specialist team, each expert in their own discipline: strategy and positioning, content and campaigns, outreach, paid media, CRM and data, and AEO. The leadership team sets the direction and holds it. Because the advice and the delivery come from the same place, the plan and the execution do not drift apart.

What does an engagement look like?

Five stages. Not every business needs all five, and the scope is agreed with you on a call before anything is committed.

  1. Understand

We start with your business, your commercial objectives and your growth ambitions. Depending on what you need, that may be an executive strategy review, a commercial diagnostic, a growth assessment or a strategic advisory workshop. The purpose is always the same: to identify the opportunities, constraints and priorities with the greatest commercial impact.

  2. Advise

We work directly with your leadership team to develop practical recommendations aligned to your objectives. This is not a theoretical strategy exercise. Every recommendation is commercially realistic and measurable, so you can tell later whether it worked.

  3. Design

Once the direction is agreed, we design the solution: go-to-market planning, sales or marketing transformation, customer acquisition, AEO strategy, commercial operating models or revenue growth initiatives. It is built around your business rather than assembled from fixed packages.

  4. Deliver

The agreed programme is delivered by our specialist team, each expert in their own discipline: strategy and positioning, content and campaigns, outreach, paid media, CRM and data, and AEO. The leadership team keeps strategic oversight throughout, so execution stays aligned to the commercial objectives you set at the start.

  5. Optimise

Growth is rarely achieved through a single intervention. We review performance with your leadership team, refine the strategy and identify the next opportunities as the business changes. The aim is lasting commercial capability, not short-term activity.

Who do we work with?

Businesses at the point where growth has become a leadership question rather than a marketing one.

  • Founder-led and privately owned businesses preparing for accelerated growth
  • Scale-ups building a repeatable way of winning work
  • SMEs and mid-sized businesses growing market share and revenue
  • Private equity-backed businesses focused on value creation

Some want a strategic review before entering a new market. Some need a full commercial transformation. Some simply want experienced advisors to challenge their thinking and give independent direction. All three are normal starting points.

Why do clients choose Momentum Inspire?

Because the people who give the advice are the people who stay accountable for it. Recommendations are commercially realistic and measurable, and the work is built around your business instead of being assembled from fixed packages.

The leadership team’s backgrounds, including the roles they have held and the businesses they have run, are set out in full on the team page, so you can judge the experience for yourself before you speak to anyone.

Frequently asked questions

What is commercial growth advisory?
Commercial growth advisory is senior, independent advice on where a business's growth is actually constrained and what to do about it. At Momentum Inspire it covers commercial strategy, go-to-market, sales and marketing transformation and AEO, and it is led by the leadership team rather than delegated to a consultant you have not met.
Who leads an advisory engagement?
Our leadership team leads every engagement and stays involved through delivery. The work itself is done by our specialist team, each expert in their own discipline, with strategic oversight staying with the leadership team throughout. You get senior thinking and specialist execution, not one generalist stretched across everything.
Do we have to commit to a full programme?
No. Some businesses want a strategic review before entering a new market, some need a full commercial transformation, and some simply want experienced advisors to challenge their thinking and give independent direction. The engagement model is deliberately flexible, and scope is agreed on a call before any commitment.
